Band Heater

Description

Reiff Band heater <Variable>

When ordering as a replacement verify part number on the orange pad.

the heating element part number is in the format CH38-DDH(-XP),

DD is the diameter  <16 inch or 20 inch or 22 inch>  Note: 22 currently unavailable.
H is which side the of the aircraft from the pilot seat (on standard puller) the cylinder is.  The lead should be pointed in to the center of the engine case.
(-XP) is 100 watt for XP system or blank for 50 watt standard system.

NOTES:

• The black connector was used on all systems sold before Oct 1, 2001; you will need to convert connector on harness to white connector style. Link to white connector parts
• If you have only the band heater available to figure out what side you have;  Turn to look at the clamps screw head and have the band loop under if the lead is to the right then it is an “R” hand.  If the lead is to the Left it is a “L” Hand.
